What are playlists and why do I need one?
A playlist is a list of music or other media you create on your iPhone/iPod Touch for playback. You can create multiple playlists for all your interests; say, Sunday Big Game Playlist, Party Playlist, Beach Playlist, and so on. The possibilities are endless. In short, this is the only way to make multiple playlist, and organize your library without syncing to iTunes.

Will Playlist-Creator Sync with iTunes?

How do I make a playlist with Playlist Creator?
It couldn't be simpler. Tap the Playlist Creator icon on the iPhone’s home screen.  Select New Playlist at the top of screen.  Type in the name you would like to call your playlist and then tap save.  Select the playlist you just created.  Tap the plus at the top of the screen, and a list of all the songs on your iPhone/iPod Touch will automatically pop up along with blue and white plus sign icons. Tap the plus sign or anywhere within the box around each track to add a song to your list.  Simply tap any of the tabs at the bottom of the screen to browse through your media and add it to the list. If you accidentally add the wrong song, you can delete the song later in edit mode, but for now, you’re stuck adding items to your list. When you are finished creating your Playlist, hit the Done button at the top of the screen.

Congratulations, you should now have a playlist created with Playlist Creator.

Can I add into Playlist Creator a playlist created with iTunes?

Sure, create a new playlist with playlist creator, and instead of adding songs, tap icon at bottom of screen that says Playlist to call up all of your playlists created with iTunes.  Select the playlist you want to bring over to Playlist creator, and then select add all songs at top of screen.  Or just select the songs you would like to bring over.  Then use Playlist Creator to modify, reorder, or remove for the new list.

Can use Smartlist, or Genus with Playlist Creator?
Sure, this is a very powerful way to create a new playlist with playlist creator.  Tap New Playlist at top of screen, and instead of adding songs, tap icon at bottom of screen that says Playlist to call up all of your playlists created with iTunes Smartlist, or to see Genus playlists.  Select the playlist you want to bring over to Playlist Creator, and then select add all songs at top of screen.  Or just select the songs you would like to bring over.  Then use Playlist Creator to modify, reorder, or remove for the new list.

How many playlists can I create?
You can create as many unique playlists you would like no limits.  Playlist Creator does not duplicate your songs/library.  You can use the same song for example as many times and in as many lists as you like. Playlist Creator doesn’t put the same song (file) in each list – this would just eat up space on your iPhone/iPod Touch for no reason at all . So make as many as you like.
